Our introduction to the library session is an opportunity for children to:
- Explore their local library.
- Look at fiction and non-fiction texts.
- Find out how to join the library.
Early Years Story Experience (Foundation)
- Explore the library and discover a range of wonderful books for young children.
- Learn about the fun things to do at your local library.
- Take part in an exciting story time session.
Rainbow Fish Friends @ Bolton Central Library (Reception & KS1)
- Enjoy hearing the story of “The Rainbow Fish”

Roald Dahl (KS2)

History Hunt (KS2)
This session gives children the opportunity to learn how to find information in the library. Pupils explore their topic theme finding facts using books and online research resources.
